National Weather Service Doppler radar indicates heavy rainfall over the headwaters of the North Fork of the Virgin River northeast of Zion National Park. The main area of concern for Flash Flooding is the upper section of the Narrows of Zion National Park with the threat decreasing as the North Fork approaches the park entrance.
PRECAUTIONARY PREPAREDNESS ACTION:
A Flash Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring. If you are in the warning area move to higher ground immediately. Resident living along streams and creeks should take immediate precautions to protect life and property. Do Not Attempt to cross swift flowing waters or waters of unknown depth by foot or automobile.
