  • UPDATE: Search for Missing Nevada Man Continues Saturday 9:00AM

    (St. George, UT) - The search continues for Clay Branham, 30, of Ely, Nevada, which began Friday morning for the missing wrangler. Family, friends and volunteers are asked to meet at the Visitors Center outside Fredonia at 9:00am. Mike Kelley, family spokesman and search coordinator, said the family is deeply appreciative of all of the help in the search effort. He said he hoped tomorrow will bring better news in the search for Branham who went missing last month in the Kanab area.

    Paul Branham, Clay's father, said he filed a missing person report with the White Pine County Sheriff's Office July 25, 2010 (Incident No. 100725006). He said his son is has been depressed in recent weeks and he is concerned for his welfare. He told KCSG News that he had searched the Kanab and Fredonia area and flown over the area from Fredonia to Jacobs Lake, Arizona on the north rim of the Grand Canyon along US highway 89.

    Branham was last seen at Aikens Lodge in Kanab, Utah, July 17th when checking out. The last known transaction on his credit card was at Judds Auto Service in Fredonia on July 21st.

    Branham is approximately 5'8"; 165 pounds; usually wearing Wranglers and rounded toe boots; always wears a ball cap or a cowboy hat; He has a tattoo on his right shoulder of a purple crescent moon with white clouds.
