(St. George, UT) - The St. George Police Department is investigating two separate incidents of lewdness that happened Sunday, August 22, 2010.

The first occurred around 6:00 P.M. near Bloomington Hills Elementary and involved an adult male running naked past some children playing near the school. He was described as a white male, medium build in his 30’s wearing only a dark colored ball cap.

The second incident occurred at approximately the same time on the bike path near 1600 West block of Sunset Blvd. Two young children were playing in the area and reported an adult male approached them and exposed himself to them before running away. He was described as a white male wearing only a large brown t-shirt and a brown hat.

Officers circulated through the area on both incidents and are currently following-up on potential leads and evidence. The incidents are believed to be unrelated at this time. If you were near the Bloomington Elementary School or near the bike path at 1600 West Sunset Boulevard about 6:00PM and noticed anything suspicious, please report it. You never know what an insignificant small observation might make in solving a case.

The suspect’s descriptions are somewhat vague prompting police to seek help. If you know of any suspect information, please contact the St. George Police Department at (435) 634-5000 or e-mail CrimeStopper Tip.
