Memorial Service Scheduled for Glen Canyon National Park Rangers

(Page, AZ) - A joint Celebration of Life event will be held in Page, Arizona for Glen Canyon National Recreation Area Park Rangers Brent McGinn and Laurie Axelsen on Thursday, October 14 at 1:00PM MST (Arizona time) at Lake Powell Resort Pool Lawn at Wahweap. Follow the signs in the Wahweap area to the service.

Due to the overwhelming response to the death of the two park rangers in an airplance crash over the weekend, Memorial websites have been established to honor the memories of Brent McGinn and Laurie Axelsen. Condolences, photos, and stories may be published online at Brent McGinn Memorial and at Laurie Axelsen Memorial .
