This is our little soldier. We wanted to make a costume for him incorporating his wagon so that he wouldn’t have to do quite so much walking. My husband loves the old German tanks so this is what he came up with. We used cardboard and duct tape, then painted it with spray paint and acrylic paint. It was then sprayed with a poly-urethane sealer to help protect it from the elements. He used wooden dowels on the underside to help reinforce the frame and secure it to the wagon. The canon is made with a shipping tube and juice bottle. Tomato juice cans and hoses add a little more detail to the rear.
